We place a big emphasis on:
✓ Informing you – providing you with information so that you can make informed choices.
✓ Partnership – working together with you – your body, your birth, your health, your choices – our support, expertise and guidance.
✓ Approachable – it is important to us that you feel calm, safe and at ease.
Who we are
Dr Malcolm Godfrey
MBBS, FRANZCOG
Malcolm completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney before moving to Newcastle where he finished his training as a gynaecologist and obstetrician. He works as a consultant in the John Hunter Hospital where he keeps current with the latest developments and trains the next generation of gynaecologists and obstetricians in Newcastle.
He grew up on the Central Coast NSW and was drawn by the friendliness and community feel of the Hunter region. He has happily settled here with his wife Victoria and their three beautiful children.
“Time with my family is the most important thing to me.”
Malcolm loves his running and can often be seen along the shores of Lake Macquarie, or spending time at the beach.
Sharon Easton
Practice Manager
Sharon has been running obstetrics and gynaecology practices for over 20 years.
“As a woman, I understand what our clients go through and I am delighted to be able to help. It is such an important time in their lives that I tell them no question is silly. Just ask.”
A friendly, respectful and knowledgeable practice manager for gynaecologists and obstetricians, Sharon is your first point of contact when you call the clinic.
When she is not supporting women and keeping Malcolm in line, Sharon enjoys horse riding, surviving and supporting her daughters, or a rich, satisfying glass of Barossa Shiraz.
